Recruitment Overview

⚠️ Faculty appointed at offsite campuses shall be non-transferable.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Associate Professor

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
• Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks
• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience
• At least 7 research publications in UGC/Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals

Assistant Professor

• Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks
• NET / SET / SLET qualification mandatory
• Ph.D. holders as per UGC 2009/2016 regulations are exempted from NET

Librarian / Deputy Librarian / Director

• Ph.D. in relevant discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience (as prescribed)
• Additional requirements as per UGC norms

Academic Score (Assistant Professor – Shortlisting)

Shortlisting will be done strictly based on UGC API Score.

Selection Process

• Academic score-based shortlisting
• Interview / Presentation (as applicable)
• Certain posts subject to outcome of writ petitions pending before Hon’ble High Court of J&K
