Recruitment Overview

Eligibility & Selection Process

Eligibility (as per UGC Regulations, 2018)

Associate Professor

• Ph.D. in concerned/relevant discipline
• Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks
• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience
• At least 7 research publications in Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals
• Minimum Research Score: 75

Assistant Professor

• Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks (relaxation as per rules)
• NET / SET / SLET mandatory
• Ph.D. holders as per UGC 2009/2016 regulations are exempted from NET/SET/SLET
• Foreign Ph.D. accepted from Top-500 ranked universities (QS/THE/ARWU)

Screening & Selection

• Phase-I: Academic score-based shortlisting as per UGC norms
• Phase-II: Presentation-cum-interaction focusing on:
  • Trans-disciplinary approach
  • Experiential learning
  • Communication skills & subject knowledge
• Final interviews will be conducted based on proportional category-wise shortlisting.
