Role Details

Khyber Aquaculture is hiring a Sr. Associate (Production) for its Kangan facility in Ganderbal district. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day aquaculture production operations and ensuring optimal growth and survival of stock.

The role includes feeding management, stock monitoring, health observation, and maintenance of culture systems across hatchery and grow-out units. Coordination with quality and engineering teams is required to meet production targets efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Feeding management and ration control
• Stock monitoring and sampling protocols
• Hatchery and grow-out unit operations
• Water quality analysis (temperature, pH, ammonia levels, etc.)
• Biosecurity and hygiene compliance
• Maintaining accurate production and health records
• Coordination with internal technical teams

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• BFSc (Bachelor of Fisheries Science)
• BSc Industrial Fisheries
• BSc Zoology

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Understanding of aquaculture production systems
• Knowledge of water quality parameters
• Awareness of biosecurity protocols
• Ability to manage sampling and stock monitoring
• Good record-keeping and coordination skills
