Tenure & Service Conditions
- Initial tenure: 01 year
- Extendable up to: Maximum 03 years
- Extension strictly subject to:
- Satisfactory performance
- Conduct report from concerned HOD
- Full-time engagement only
- ❌ Private practice / part-time work not permitted
- 💰 First month salary retained as security deposit, refundable on successful completion of tenure
- ❌ Candidates who have already completed 3 years as Senior Resident are not eligible
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill eligibility as per:
- Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024
- Latest National Medical Commission (NMC) regulations
Eligibility norms apply uniformly to both clinical and non-clinical departments under H&ME J&K.
Documents Required
Applicants must upload/submit the following:
- Date of Birth Certificate
- MBBS Degree / Equivalent
- Marks Cards of all Professional Examinations
- State / MCI / NMC Registration Certificate
- Post-Graduate Degree Certificate
- Additional Qualification Registration Certificate (JKMC, if applicable)
- Affidavit (Annexure-A) duly attested by 1st Class Judicial Magistrate
- NOC (mandatory for In-service / PSC candidates)
📌 Hard copy of NOC (for in-service candidates) must reach the Registrar Academics, GMC Baramulla before the last date.
