The Department of Education, University of Kashmir, invites applications for the post of Junior Project Fellow (JPF) under a sponsored research project focused on formative assessment and competency-based evaluation at the elementary level. The position is purely temporary and project-based.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

  • MA in Education (minimum 55%) or
  • M.Ed. (minimum 55%)
  • NET / SET or Ph.D. in Education

Tenure & Nature of Appointment

  • Duration: 18 Months
  • Nature: Temporary
  • Status: Co-terminus with the project
    ⚠️ The appointment will automatically terminate on completion of the project.

The research project emphasizes:

  • Formative assessment techniques
  • Competency-based and continuous evaluation
  • Practical implementation of NEP 2020 in elementary education
  • Shifting from rote learning to learning-outcome-based pedagogy
