Job Description

The Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), J&K has invited applications for 1 Field Officer post on a contractual basis. Eligible candidates can submit their applications at the IRCS J&K office, Exchange Road, Srinagar by October 5, 2026.

Eligibility / Educational Qualification

Candidates should have any of the following:

  • MBA, or
  • Post Graduation in Sociology, or
  • MSW (Master of Social Work)

The qualification must be from a recognized university. Candidates with experience in the field of social work will be given preference.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 40 years
  • Age is to be calculated as on 01 January 2026.
  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on an aggregate score covering:

  • Degree qualification
  • Special qualification
  • Relevant experience
  • Computer knowledge and experience
  • Interview / Viva-voce

Candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio based on qualification and experience marks.

Contract Details

The engagement will be for one year on a contractual basis, with continuation dependent on performance. The remuneration is all-inclusive, and other contractual conditions will apply as specified by the Indian Red Cross Society J&K.
