Project Details
Project Title:
“Psychology Driven STEM Education to increase scientific temperament in the border village of Kashmir”
The project is a joint initiative of GCW MA Road Srinagar and NIT Srinagar under JKSTIC, focusing on research and STEM education activities in border and remote areas of Kashmir.
Available Positions
Project Intern – Psychology
Number of Posts: 01
Eligibility:
- Graduate in Psychology.
- Psychology Honours candidates are preferred.
- Candidates with research experience will be preferred.
- Only graduates from the 2023–2026 batches are eligible.
Project Intern – Engineering / Science
Number of Posts: 01
Eligibility:
- Graduate in any discipline of Engineering or Science.
- Strong foundation in STEM is required.
- Only graduates from the 2023–2026 batches are eligible.
Nature of Work
Selected interns will be involved in:
- Research activities related to the project.
- Fieldwork in border villages.
- Conducting STEM education workshops.
- Interacting with students and local communities.
- Supporting activities designed to promote scientific thinking.
- Field visits to areas such as Gurez, Keran, Karnah and Uri.
Stipend
₹10,000 per month
Important: The notice states that no stipend will be provided if an intern leaves during the internship tenure.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a graduate from the 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 batch.
- For Project Intern 01: Psychology graduate, preferably Honours, with research experience.
